I've had such an amazing experience with Big Sky K9! I took my puppy Hemingway for her first meet and greet, and she fell in love with Sam & Sara immediately.
I've worked in the veterinary field for years and you can tell they have so much experience and love for their work, this is truly shown in every interaction. They radiate passion for training and my partner and I felt more than comfortable leaving Hemi for 2 weeks with them for her boarding/training.
Communication was excellent. From daily text messages to videos, they go above and beyond.
Hemingway is a basset hound who are known for being very stubborn, and they did such a good job training her. They provided us with so much information at the end of her training, and are always available for follow up questions.
I would highly recommend Big Sky K9 for anyone looking for compassionate, caring and experienced trainers.

Cannont sing their praises high enough. Our German Shepherd Bruno is so smart and so sweet but a constant source of energy! Before his training it was often unimaginable, and frustrating . After training, a DIFFERENT MANAGABLE DOG! We’ve been a little lazy in working with him during these winter months, but I took him out today and he still aced all his commands! So thankful!!

We started with Big Sky K9 in their 8 week lesson program and advanced leaps and strides in basic obedience, leash walking, and recall with our 2.5 year old black lab Raya. Working with Sam and Sara was absolutely fantastic and they are extremely and compassionate and caring about you and your dog's progress and well being. They can easily adapt to each dog's specific needs and we left every session feeling more confident and excited about what we were working on next. We have since progressed to detection/scent training with Sam and are having so much fun. I highly recommend them for any dog training needs.

Big Sky K9 saved our dogs life. Tig is a fantastic family dog who at 4 years old is done accepting new people (mainly men) into our home or yard. Sam gave both Tig and more importantly us the tools and know how to responsibly control and command. Same great dog but changed when commanded to suit. I can’t thank Big Sky K9 enough. Amazing results and fantastic people.

Sam & Sara did a wonderful job in only 2 weeks with my Golden, Butter. While he was already well-behaved, his leash manners were terrible and his voice commands were becoming all too selective. My greatest fear in sending Butter to "camp" was that he may lose his free spirit. I was also concerned about him having to wear a special collar. After 2 weeks, he was incredibly responsive to all commands, no leash necessary (not even in Ace Hardware, his greatest distraction). The best part, he still has his free spirit and proudly wears his special collar on the daily. I am thrilled with such a positive shift in his skills in a short amount of time! Highly recommend!
