My Dobermann "Drago" and I are 1/2 way through the intermediate class. Drago is young, 85-90 lbs. and full of energy.....before we came to class at Big Valley Dog Training, he would nearly pull my arm off when we would go for walks. That issue is behind us now thanks to Joel. The training area is always well groomed, clean, and is fenced and secure. Joel is an outstanding teacher for dog AND owner. From what I here from others, Joel teaches not only beginning obedience classes, but competition obedience, tracking, and advanced guard dog training. I enjoy my dog so much more now, but I must say that making time for the class is a big commitment. And, the commitment doesn't stop at the end of the class time as there is much repetition needed for both dog and owner to make the commands a routine. Like most things in life, the size of the reward that a person receives, depends on how much time and commitment that they are willing to put in to it.

The ONLY place I take my dogs. Joel and Britt are the best. You'll learn so much. It's amazing what Joel can teach a dog. All levels of training. Won't be disappointed. Invest in the Best!
Joel and Britt are so patient and knowledgeable. The no nonsense tips and tricks really helped me see where I was going wrong with my German Shepard. Their training yard is spacious and clean.
