FirstBarkKimee has been a constant source of growth for not only my dog but also myself. Whether it’s behavioral modification or confidence training etc. she’s been consistent in their mission to improve my dogs life and give me the tools needed to make sure training sticks. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else and look forward to seeing just how much my dog is capable of with her guidance!

I came to Kimberlee (LugaruK9) when my high drive rescue dog began biting people with no clear trigger. She used balanced methods and walked us through every step of the process of how to intervene on this behavior. With her help we made the hard decision that this dog was not a good fit for our home, but Kimberlee went on to rehabilitate and train our dog and helped us place her with a rescue that takes dogs with these issues. She is now helping us raise our new Dutch Shepherd puppy and I would recommend her to anyone that needs help with their dog, whether on an infrequent consultancy basis or an intensive board and train basis. She is worth every penny. Check out her blog for some great free resources too, I utilize many of those!

Our puppy is happy to see Kimee every time they meet because she knows she's going to be interacting with someone who is going to set boundaries, follow through, and have fun with her in her puppy language. We've learned a lot from Kimee about basic puppy training, breed-specific behaviors and how to deal with those, and even nutrition. Our dog is a hound/pit mix. We love her with all our hearts, and she is a high energy and vocal dog. She would bark and want to jump up for attention on anyone and everyone. After a couple sessions with their trainers we saw huge changes. We went to Mods Pizza as a group with our dog and laid a blanket down for her. She didn't bark or lunge at anyone. To be able to have her out in public as a family is super awesome and just reinforces the bonds we have with her. Thank you guys so much for helping me and TG learn and be able to have experiences like this.
