I sent my Labrador, Mateo to Blackbelt Retrievers for obedience training when he turned 5 months old, and he stayed there for 3 months. Since I’m not into hunting, I opted for obedience training, and they did an excellent job. Now, it’s up to me to continue reinforcing what Mateo learned there. What truly impressed me was the care they provided. Mateo was housed in an air-conditioned environment, and they ensured he received his flea/tick prevention and heartworm medication on time. They even allowed me to visit Mateo frequently, which meant a lot to me. Seeing how well they treated Mateo and all the other dogs gave me confidence that he was in great hands. Even after bringing Mateo home, they’ve been incredibly supportive, answering all my questions and helping me whenever I need guidance. I can’t recommend Blackbelt Retrievers enough! A big thank you to Thomas, Brandon, Dana, and Mark for taking such great care of Mateo.
Hands down - the BEST!!! Would trust Mark & Brandon with my life. They’ve trained 3 Brittanys for us & they gained a forever customer. Just all around good people!
