About Blackheart K9 Services
We don’t pick a dog anticipating that our new pup will have issues. We dream of a well mannered dog to take on nice walks, play fetch with, and have lazy days indoors when it is raining. As a dog owner you do not expect to deal with a list of issues that can come with K9 companionship. If your dog struggles with any of the following: aggression, reactivity, anxiety issues, poor manners (indoor/ inside home), or any other issues that make you want to pull out your hair, give us a call. Scott and his team did amazing job with my mixed breed dog! He listens and follows commands the first time! I recommend anyone who has a dog and wants the best for your dog to let Scott have them and he will teach them on another level!

Where can I start… Our beautiful Queen came to our life with so many things in her bag. separation anxiety, fear-based aggression , dog selective behavior. She doesn’t like cats or kids or any other people besides her former owner, my husband and I. We relocated from New York a couple of months ago and we were so fortunate to find Blackheart K9. Scott, the owner, was very honest in his evaluation of our dog and he recommended Vanessa to start the training with Queen. Queen spent 3 weeks away with Vanessa and she came like a whole different dog. She now listens to us and she is more confident. Also, before, we couldn’t find a boarding place who was willing to take care of Queen because of her anxiety and Vanessa made our life easier, since she also offered us to board Queen. We recommend Vanessa 100% as a trainer!!!
We sent our Lulu to be trained by Vanessa for two weeks and couldn’t be more thankful for the outcome. Vanessa sent us daily pictures and videos of Lulu so we could see what she was learning each day. She kept us in the loop with everything going on. She then taught us how to do the commands with her. The before and after results were amazing. So glad we chose blackheart!!

Duke, our 90 Lb 3 year old Brindle rescue pup was getting a little too feisty around people (not aggressive, just wants attention) and he started charging across the street to meet anyone who was there or their dog. At some point we got really worried that his running toward people would cause unwanted problems. He just wanted to play but the recipients of a 90# brindle Staffie mix looks really different on the receiving end if you don't know the dog. Long story short, after a lot of looking we discovered Blackheart K9. I talked with Scott and immediately decided that he could handle the issues. The results, after 3 weeks of board and train with Blackheart's crew were, IMHO, beyond amazing. Duke responds to commands well and behaves much better, etc., etc. Obviously we still have t log of "homework" to do now that he is back but we were shown what to do and how to do it in great detail. I have never met anyone who knows more about dogs, and why they do or don't do things than Scott. Not only is he vastly knowledgeable, he can explain everything in easy to understand terms and obviously he has great patience. I seriously doubt there is any place better (or as good) for training. And, they pick up and deliver throughout the SouthEast.
