Every dog learns differently, it’s not so much about train any age dog as it is so much about training your specific dog the best way that works for them.

I have two very large dogs, and I spend a lot of time outdoors hiking. I needed my dogs to be well behaved in public and on the trail - more than basic training. The guys at BlackPaw listen, help you understand, and teach you the correct ways of training your dog. My experience with other trainers in town is they talk down to you, not the guys at BlackPaw. They're down-to-earth, treat you as part of their family, they're inviting, and most importantly, my dogs love them. The guys at BlackPaw prepare you dog(s) for every situation possible that they might encounter. They also teach you how to be a leader for your dog. Couldn't recommend more!

Matt knows a lot about dog training and his team is awesome too. You can do hour long sessions where he trains you as much as your dog. He also offers camps. 10/10 recommend to everyone who wants a more well trained dog
