Blue Sky Canine

We called Blue Sky after one of our dogs attacked the other. We were heartbroken and wondering if we should re-home one of them. We met with Austin and made a plan to not only build confidence and predictability with our dogs’ behaviors, but also improve their relationship with each other. Austin and Nevin worked both dogs through some challenging behaviors while giving us the education and tools we need to keep them happy and safe. Once through the basics, they tailored the training to our lifestyle and goals. We are so grateful for their dedication and knowledge.

We are SO thankful for Blue Sky Canine! Austin's expertise, guidance, and patience were unmatched. At the beginning of the year, we moved to Colorado and our 9-month-old Dutch shepherd, Riggins, developed severe separation anxiety the minute we moved into our new place. It was so bad that we weren't able to leave our house together for over two months without fear of angering our neighbors. Riggins would bark nonstop, whine, and destroy various parts of our home despite medication, supplements, chews, and crate training, After trying everything we could, we knew we needed professional help to get back our life. After researching and speaking with many dog trainers, we decided to move forward with Blue Sky Canine and Austin because of his extensive knowledge of our dogs' breed, customized training programs, and passion for working dogs. We decided to enroll in the 6-week day training program and after some intensive work, Riggins was FINALLY able to be left alone without barking or destroying anything in sight. To say we were relieved is an understatement - it was absolutely life-changing for us. Beyond curing his separation anxiety, Austin worked with us on creating a fulfilling life for our dog, we tightened up his obedience, introduced scent work and bite work, and learned how to stimulate him not only physically but mentally. My only regret was not starting his training sooner. It's the best investment we've ever made for our family and our dog's well-being. Can't say thank you enough!

Blue Sky Canine are REAL PROFESSIONALS. We have worked with Ryan Shupe a fully certified dog trainer who servers families/individuals with puppy’s/dogs in the Denver metro area. We have done 6 sessions so far and our puppy is doing amazing. He finds the right training style by getting to know your dog. He is both strict, gentle, and flexible when it comes to meeting the needs of your puppy. From what I know he does informal dog meet ups every once and awhile for continued training and dog socializing. I tell everyone I know, in the market for dog training to contact Blue Sky and request Ryan Shupe as their dog trainer.
