Blue Sky Canine

We have loved working with Austin from Blue Sky and have seen quite the difference in our pup! We mostly asked for help with some basic manners as we prep for our first baby this fall. We wanted our energetic yellow lab, Tucker, to improve his leash skills, eliminate his jumping behaviors, and learn his recall command. It’s been awesome having Austin come to our home and practice these things all together. Austin is extremely knowledgeable and was patient and articulate at teaching us not only the mechanics of the commands, but the reasoning behind the technique as well.

After my family decided to get a puppy we new the next step was to find a trainer that was flexible and suitable for our needs. We hired Austin from blue sky canine and it was nothing short of amazing. He came to our house by appointment which we decided on weekly. We covered several key topics to training our new puppy. We are extremely happy with his approach to training and couldn’t be happier with the results. I couldn’t recommend blue sky canine enough for your training needs.

Nevin has been an absolute amazing trainer to work with! Our dog Pepper had separation anxiety, was very defiant and would not listen to us very well. We have never owned an Austrian shepherd mix ( very high energy) before either. However, Nevin offered a great plan and Pepper stayed with him for 4 weeks. What a turn around! Nevin basically opened up the line of communication between us and Pepper. How to speak to him with commands and body language. With the home training and implementation we have a great relationship with Pepper and the anxiety has diminished.Thank you Nevin for truly loving what you do.

Nevin at Blue Sky Canine has been the best addition to our puppy, Luna's, life. She completed a 3 week Puppy Obedience board and train with Nevin when she was 4 months old. She also stays with Nevin for boarding when we are traveling and she LOVES him. Nevin has been to our house several times to help implement the training and is so knowledgeable in training the dog, and training us to how to have the best relationship with her. We are so thankful we found Blue Sky and Nevin and cannot give him a higher recommendation.
