Body and Mind K9

I highly recommend Body and Mind K9 to anyone and any dog. Charlie and his team are all so knowledgeable about positively and effectively training any dog and personalize training to suit you and your dog's needs. Moving to Long Beach not knowing anyone with a new puppy and as a first time pet owner was difficult to say the least. One day I was walking through the park and saw some people training with Charlie, he noticed and invited me in. This was how I met my first friends in Long Beach who shared my love for our dogs and desire to create the best life possible with our four legged friends. I cannot thank BAMK9 enough for creating this wonderful community not only for my dog but for me as well. We have learned so much and have found our community through BAMK9 community classes, training class, and pack walks. Highly highly highly recommend, you will not be disappointed with you experience and the training expertise of Body and Mind K9.

UPDATE: we continue to love Charlie & especially love his new adventure academy! We started by sending our 2nd dog for private day trains where he was slowly introduced to new environments & dogs. And have continued with BAMK9’s newest offering, Adventure Academy. Charlie makes it so easy with pick up & drop offs at our house, and we love the updates throughout the day. We have noticed a big difference in our dogs since they have been attending Adventure academy. Still cannot sing BAMK9 & Charlies praises enough! Charlie & his team are some of the best around. He has been such a tremendous help with your rescue “lab mix” (FYI…Charlie was the first to point out that most likely our “lab mix” wasn’t a lab at all & he was RIGHT!) Charlie has been so patient, calm, and understanding with our boy. It’s been a welcome relief in the world of owning a misunderstood dog (aka reactive dog). I have, and will continue, to sing Charlie & his teams praises!

My pup has been with Body and Mind K9 for almost 2 years, we've taken advantage of all their services and we've just started the Adventure Academy! Pup gets a day away from home, filled with lifestyle training and adventures with other dogs, plus a full pick up and drop off service, all for a very reasonable price (especially with membership or packages). My doggo loves it, she gets home super tired and oh so happy! Her confidence, neutrality to other dogs, environments, and overall desired behavior has improved tremendously, because of Charlie's training and advice. He's by far our favorite trainer and does so much for the Long Beach dog lifestyle community!

Charlie is the best trainer in the game, hands down. He studies each dog individually and customizes the training for each client accordingly. (We’ve even referred some kitty clients his way!) We brought our very anxious and timid rescue girl to Charlie and through his group classes and private sessions, we’ve seen her blossom into the confident, happy, and well-adjusted dog we always hoped she could be. Charlie noticed little things that were triggering our dog, educated us, and worked with her in a kind and compassionate way to help her overcome her fears and anxieties. We will never be able to thank Charlie enough for all he has done for our pup (and for us)! And the extra bonus is he’s a great resource on doggy nutrition too! We’ve referred all our friends and acquaintances to Charlie and everyone is just as impressed and obsessed with him as we are! If you haven’t already, definitely book a private session with him, you won’t regret it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PS: Jordan is also a huge hit with the dogs and a wonderful way to get some training and walking done all at once. 🦮
