Bold City K9

We got a new English Springer Spaniel, Charlie, and it had been almost 17 years since we had a puppy and he was ALL puppy! We wanted to start him with a good foundation as we believe having a dog for 16 years is an investment for our family! We looked at other facilities that were board and train but more in a kennel setting and I couldn’t wrap my head around how they would simulate everyday living. How were they going to get him from counter surfing, from him taking the stream of toilet paper like it’s a parade, be around babies and kids etc. We found the perfect place for him and knew it when we first met Courtney and Brittney! They were going to love him as if he was theirs with all the training too! Brittney was fantastic with updates with videos and pictures! We kept up with him on their social media and watched him play with the other dogs, visit stores, coffee shops and the beach and interact with kids and chickens!😁 we just got Charlie back on Friday and the improvements have been just amazing! I’ve been working with him at home and even been able to meet up with Brittney and other dogs at the park today for some extra mom pointers for training! We are very grateful to have had Charlie to be trained by a fantastic group of caring people who take pride in helping get the best out of our bestie!

I can't recommend Brittani and Bold City K9 enough! Meo is my first puppy, and I decided to start with a Belgian Malinois—which, as many people know, is definitely not the easiest breed for a first-time dog owner. Meo stayed with Brittani for six weeks for puppy board and training, and throughout the entire process I received regular updates, photos, videos, training tips, and so much education. I’m really glad I chose Bold City K9 for Pedey’s training. The board-and-train program made a noticeable difference in his behavior and obedience, and the follow-up class helped me learn how to continue reinforcing what he learned at home. The team was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and build relationships with the dogs they train. Pedey now kennels there because of the trust they’ve built with he and I. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d recommend Bold City K9 to anyone looking for quality dog training.

When we started looking for training for our 5-month-old Golden Retriever, Tala, we knew we wanted someone we could trust. After meeting Brit, we immediately felt confident that Tala was in the right hands. Tala was a sweet, goofy, energetic puppy, but like many young Goldens, she needed help learning how to channel that energy and build the skills to confidently navigate the world around her. One of the biggest reasons we chose Bold City K9 was the environment they provide. Instead of spending most of the day in a kennel, the dogs live in the trainer's home for six weeks and are constantly exposed to real-life experiences. Tala spent her days going on field trips, interacting with other dogs, cats, kids, and even chickens. Knowing she would be learning and socializing in a home environment was a huge selling point for us. When Tala came home, the transformation was incredible. She was confident, patient, and so much more settled in herself. You could immediately see and feel the work Brit had put into her. Tala is still the same goofy, silly puppy we know and love, she now just understands where and when to channel that energy. I was shocked by her recall, her place command, and her listening skills overall. The difference is night and day. It has made life easier for Tala and for my husband and me. We have a happier, more peaceful household because of the work Brit did with her.
