My husband and I are dog people. Dogs have been a part of our lives for over four decades. In that time we have worked with multiple trainers and training programs in Cache Valley and as far south as SLC. ARETE is by far the best all around, holistic training program we have ever encountered. Nothing bad to say about any of the trainers we worked with in the past...on the contrary, we've worked with some of the best. That said...ARETE is truly in a class by itself. It is rare that a dog training program can be SO top notch all around but ARETE pulls it off. From their responsive, attentive customer service from day one, to the outstanding expertise of our trainer Bryan...our experience has been phenomenal! It is rare that a dog trainer can demonstrate a calm, accepting attitude with BOTH dogs and humans but Bryan at ARETE seems born to it. We have never felt judged or criticized for some of our "less effective" habits with our boy...always just receive calm, direct feedback about what might "work better". Our sessions with Bryan are fun! And our Border Collie Gus just loves him. He is so positive and caring, but direct and firm when need be! What's also really great? is that Bryan seems to love him too...you can see it. Gus has come such a long way in his short time working with ARETE. At six months he is already learning to walk off lead and is getting more reliable with his recall each day. When we started with ARETE we were asked what our goals in training would be...after some thought the answer seemed easy- For Gus to become a good citizen in our family and community and to be safe and have manners wherever he goes. We want him to have the most freedom possible, and the very best life he can have. ARETE understands that and they are helping us with each session to move closer and closer in achieving our goals for Gus. Thank you Bryan, Shannon and ARETE! Easily the best dog training program we have encountered in the valley and beyond.

I have been super pleased with the training my dogs have received from ARETE Bold K9 Solutions. I have had them work with dogs of mine that were having aggression between the dogs and also have had them help with my training of a therapy pet that functions as a school mascot as well. The trainers are always professional, on time and follow through with what they say they are going to accomplish. They completely care about the dogs they train. They care about having good outcomes for the dogs in the homes they are in. They care about the people who own the dogs. You do need to be willing to commit time to training and spending time with your dogs though too. The best dog training in the world won't last if the owners don't also follow the training and work with their dog. I highly recommend their program.

Indi did a great job teaching me how to train my german shepperd puppy. He came every week with new lessons and accompanying homework. Too bad I'm a terrible student but luckily he was always reassuring and allowed me to text him with questions at any time! Really grateful to have had him help us. I would recommend arete bold k9 to anyone in the cache valley area getting a puppy or who just needs help with their dog! I'll definitely be using them for boarding services in the future as well.

We worked with Indi and he was amazing. He was always on time and so fun to watch him interact with our dog. He help answer so many questions and always made us feel like we were doing a good job. Bold K9 Soultions were very reasonably priced and so awesome to work with. The made sure we know all the options available and helped us choose a plan that worked best for our needs without feeling pressured to pick a higher priced package. I highly recommend them all the way around.
