Bonding with Buddies

Stu’s guidance and training have been invaluable to us. When my wife and I adopted an 8 month old rescue, we knew that we needed to find the right trainer to help us. On a coworker’s recommendation we connected with Bonding With Buddies and it has been the BEST decision we could’ve made for our dog. With Stu’s training and techniques we were able to get our pup, Bowie, to stop pulling on the leash from day one. I’m talking about seeing progress immediately at the very first lesson. After a few lessons we have a completely different dog, the change has been incredible. We can now confidently bring our little guy anywhere knowing that, with Stu’s training, we have a dog that will sit, stay, lay down and listen to us on command. Maybe the best part of the training is knowing that Stu is invested in making sure your dog succeeds. He checks in to make sure everything is going smoothly and that your dog is set up for success. I cannot recommend Bonding With Buddies highly enough. If you are in need of a dog trainer, do not hesitate to call. You will not be disappointed.

Stu and I have been working with our dog Stanley over the last month and we could not be more impressed with the progress we have made and Stu in general. Stu in a matter of a few sessions instituted amazing practices to keep our dog from pulling constantly on our walks, which is important heading into the winter season and preventing getting injured from slipping on ice or snow. What we have enjoyed about working with Stu are the different areas and training methods but he also checks in outside of training to see how we’ve been practicing and genuinely cares about how the dog is doing

I highly recommend using Stu for not only training but any other services he offers as well too. He takes training very seriously with a high degree of effort. Stu is also very passionate and serious about the dog's progress, but the owner's progress as well. He checks in when we aren't training to see how our dog has been and what training we are practicing outside of our sessions. I have worked with multiple trainers in the past and none have ever been as attentive, practical, prompt and genuinely interested in progressing your dog to the next level. We have an almost three year old Golden Doodle named Stanley who has worked with two other trainers that was being reactive on leash towards other dogs, strangers and other sensory driving instances (bikes, etc). In just 4 weeks our dog is already changed his behavior immensely and it has been amazing to watch. Stanley walks uniformly, sits on command, can be directed up or down onto obstacles, is non-reactive, much more stimulated at home and we are already leveling up to more advanced scenarios such as walking off leash with a firm heel. Additionally we have trained in multiple public settings which provides new learning opportunities for the dog such as more populated/less populated settings, and different ground surfaces
