Boss K9

Our dog Bohdi did a 3 week Board and Train program with Boss K9. Going in, Bohdi was very anxiously reactive and had very little knowledge on how to manage his anxiety. It takes a lot of time to build trust with Bohdi, but Boss K9 took the time. They really cared about making Bohdi comfortable in order to create his best self to learn. With Boss K9, Bohdi leaned more than we could’ve ever foreseen for him. He came home in great spirits and seems to feel so confident in all of the new skills he’s learned. They not only cared about his emotional well being, but went far beyond reactivity training. They built a great obedience foundation for Bohdi to really build from. He truly feels like a new dog that we feel more than comfortable having friends/family over and taking for family walks with. I cannot say enough good things about Boss K9. When I first brought my 8-month-old Cane Corso, Thunder, to training, both of us were apprehensive. Thunder was an incredibly sweet dog, but she struggled with fear and anxiety in new environments. To be honest, I was nervous too. I was leaving my puppy with complete strangers and hoping I was making the right decision. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel comfortable. The trainer greeted us warmly at the car and assured me that Thunder would be in good hands. Thunder, however, was not convinced. She refused to go inside. I literally had to walk her to the door because she would not go in. The very next day, that same dog walked inside without even looking back. That was my first sign that I had found the right people. Jada, Aubrey, Anna, and even Marlie in the office were the epitome of professionalism, knowledge, patience, and kindness. They were accommodating, trustworthy, and genuinely cared about Thunder's success. Throughout the entire process, I felt completely comfortable leaving her in their care. The transformation was incredible. The dog who was afraid to ride in the car, get into the Boss K9 van, or walk near moving traffic became confident and comfortable doing all of those things. Thunder is still the sweet dog she has always been, but now she has confidence to go along with it. As an added bonus, they also offer spa services at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for trainers who are knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, and who genuinely love dogs, look no further. Boss K9 exceeded every expectation I had. Both Thunder and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I honestly could not give them higher praise if they paid me. Thunder is still the sweet dog she has always been, and while she is still working on her confidence, she is well on her way. The progress she made during her time at Boss K9 exceeded my expectations and gave both of us the tools we need to continue building on that success.
