To say Gevorg and the rest of the Boston Dogtor team are the best in the area would be an understatement. I was referred to him from someone who shared similar struggles to my own. Rescued a young dog who was in no way was shown proper socialization, given proper structure and leadership, and was communicating his feelings through behavior that other trainers could not assist me in learning how to read. When I found Gevorg, all of that went away. I had been dealing with dog reactivity, human aggression, and anxiety through nervousness or excitement. My dog was communicating the entire time, but trainers before Gevorg just could not show me the way. When I met Gevorg, he immediately demonstrated why he is the go to person from simple obedience, to hard rehabilitation cases. I now understand my dog better then I would have ever imagined in my lifetime as a dog owner. As much time as Gevorg put into making Renny the best dog he can be, he has put in equal if not more time into making me the best handler I can be. He managed to have me understand some of the smallest behaviors, little cues or body language communication that so many dogs now exhibit to tell you how they are feeling. I have now known Gevorg for 2 plus years, and to this day still advocate over anyone else in the area for those who are need any kind of training or help. Truly having an understanding of what separates a trainer from someone like him is one of the most assuring feelings you will experience. You will be in GREAT hands, he lives for these dogs day in and day out. The amount of times he and the team have helped me in any trying times with my own dog, foster dog, friends dog etc is more then anyone in the Boston or Greater Boston area would ever imagine in their careers, that I can assure you. I don't think I can say enough good things about Grevorg. My dog was a nightmare before him. I adopted a large, young dog that I was told had no behavior issues. She turned out to be dominant, controlling and showed signs of escalating aggression. I was told by 4 trainers that they couldn't do anything. I knew if I sent her to a shelter she would be killed. Grevorg was my last hope. He even told me she was a tough case but he loved tough cases because that's where you really get to see the change. She did the train and board program with him. She got back a couple days ago and things are already so much better. She isn't perfect and I'm continuing to train her and set the rules. However, I know I need to put work into following the training too. Grevorg basically saved my dog, I just didn't know what would happen if we didn't find him.

I highly recommend anyone considering dog training to use Boston Dogtor. It was clear right from the start that Gevorg genuinely cares about dogs. Not only that but as a customer It was great to see the pride he took in training and improving my dog. He kept Twix longer than anticipated for no extra cost until he was satisfied with the her progress. In addition to that he continued with follow up visits at home to track her progress. We could not be happier with the progress Twix has made and now we even have a place to board her that she loves going to! Gevorg truly is in it for the mental health of the dog. I have recieved compliments such as "your dog is the best trained dog in Boston" on several occasions. In addition, after my puppy relapses slightly (due to my own carelessness) he offered to take him back free of charge in order to help my puppy. He is very receptive and is always a phone call away when needed. I would highly recommend his services over any other trainer.
