I did two weeks of board & train for my reactive dog Gracie. From the very beginning, all of the staff have been kind and professional and answered all my questions quickly through email. Gracie’s trainers, Ty and Kyle, have been absolutely wonderful. They have been so patient, compassionate, and understanding of her unique needs. Gracie can be nervous and reactive, so finding people who truly take the time to understand her and work at her pace has meant so much to us. I received thorough updates and photos of Gracie’s progress throughout the week. It was so wonderful and encouraging to see Gracie blossom and gain confidence as time went on. Her training has given her the tools to navigate situations that would normally be overwhelming for her. Gracie went from not being able to see or pass a dog without reacting defensively out of fear, to actually making friends with other dogs, including relaxing on the couch without a muzzle next to her new friend Yellow. I’m so happy with how far Gracie has come with the help and love from her trainers. Just as importantly, they’ve given me the knowledge and support to better understand her and help her succeed by continuing her training at home. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for Gracie and for me. They genuinely care about the dogs they work with, and it shows in everything they do. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for patient, compassionate, and truly exceptional trainers.

We hired Bow Wow Behavioral because our dogs were a nightmare to walk due to constant pulling and eating things off the ground. We decided to board and train our dogs. The trainers, Ty, Kyle and Laura were great to work with and always gave us updates on the progression of training at the end of of every day. Ty was even concerned and informed us immediately when one of our dogs seemed to develop an ear infection during their training stay. When we picked up our dogs after training was over, they taught myself and my husband training techniques for better behaved dogs on our walks. While my dogs are not perfect, they are 1000% better. Walks are definitely more relaxed and our dogs now walk on a loose leash without lunging ahead or eating things off the ground. I highly recommend their services.

Our training with Ty was very effective and basically solved all our problems! We tried other trainers before Ty and none of those previous methods worked with our dog. He helped us stop our dog's barking when people walked by the door and also helped train her to not jump on people as they walked in. Most importantly, he helped us reduce her resource-guarding aggression through a ladder of desensitization methods. He explained everything clearly and gave us homework that was achievable each time. We are thrilled with his services!
