Bow Wow Behavioral

I’ve been using Bow Wow Behavioral for boarding, and I couldn’t be happier! They send cute daily video updates of my dog playing with other dogs and having a great time in a huge yard. It’s so reassuring to see how happy she is! I also love the complimentary pick-up and drop-off service for longer stays, plus, they’re always on time and super reliable. I’ll definitely be using their services again and highly recommend them!

We have loved working with Bow Wow Behavioral for training! Ty is an excellent trainer and was able to work with us on behavioral issues with our dog. When our dog needed some training refreshers after our baby was born, Ty worked with us in our home. We have also used BWB for boarding and we know that our dog is in great hands with the team. The team is responsive and sends updates! When they come to pick our dog up, he runs out to greet them so I know that he is well cared for and loved when we’re out of town!

I can't say enough good things about Bow WOW Behavioral! Ty, George, and Velma have helped us with training and boarding our yorkie for a couple of years now. We feel so fortunate to have found such amazing and loving people to take care of our senior pooch while we are out of town. Any guilt is washed away when we see how happy Brownie is to see George! They offer an amazing service including pickup and drop off. Best of all, Brownie gets to spend his time in a lovely home with a big yard to explore, a real treat for a city dog! We get lots of updates during his stay so we feel totally at ease. Thank you guys for everything!

I waited a few weeks before writing this review because I wanted to give my dog a chance to adjust to being home and walking with me instead of the trainer before making any assumptions. However, now I can say with confidence that I am unimpressed with her training. I took my dog to training for 2 weeks (which was very expensive) in hopes that she would improve in walking on the leash and not reacting to other dogs. Every update I received for the 2 weeks essentially said the same variation of “she’s doing well but still pulling”. When I picked her up she walked on the leash about as well as when I left her. Now I understand that it can take a while for training to stick, but after 2 full weeks at the price I paid, I would expect some change to have happened. Additionally, when I picked my dog up she was sick for a few weeks following her stay and had constant accidents in her kennel, which she never did before.
