One thing that really stood out was the convenience. Chris came to us for training, which made a huge difference with our schedule and allowed the training to happen in a real-life environment. He also went above and beyond by including sessions with our older Doberman, which was incredibly helpful and much appreciated.
If you’re looking for a trainer who is professional, flexible, and genuinely invested in your dogs’ success, I highly recommend Chris. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

We had a great experience with Chris at Breakthrough Dog Training. He trained all five of our dogs together—the mother Zarah (2 years old) and four 7-month-old puppies—which is not easy to do.
Zarah is a full-blood, high-drive working dog, and Chris knew exactly how to channel her energy and leadership. Puppy Stella went from not listening well to responding much better to commands. Lucky stopped pulling and now walks calmly and well-behaved with my dad on their daily walks. Dante and Bella are now able to walk together confidently in public.
Chris is patient, knowledgeable, and really understands dog behavior, especially in multi-dog households. We saw real, practical results and highly recommend Breakthrough Dog Training.

Man we are a few lessons into our training with my poodle and she’s gotten so much better with the help of her trainer Mike. With work and consistency I have now doubt that by the end of week 12 she will be amazing! They work with our schedules great and every session there’s something new and great results almost immediately. Trust the team and your furry friend will grow alongside you aswell!

Chris is THE best trainer I have ever worked with. We tried two other dog trainers previously, such as K9 development, but none of their methods actually stuck or helped our dog long-term. Our anxious 3 year old pit bull was a handful to take outside on walks/outings or when guests came over. Throughout the entire process Chris was very kind, professional, and always explained every step of the way. I felt confident and comfortable with his techniques and saw significant differences in our dogs behavior right off the bat. Our dog knows Chris by name and gets excited when we tell him it’s time to go train. Chris not only helped train my dog but also helped me understand my dogs behavior and needs. I always felt comfortable asking him questions and expressing my thoughts and feelings. I can’t say enough amazing things about Chris, we are so grateful to have met him and always recommend him to everyone that has a dog. Thank you breakthrough dog training from Chico and family!

Chris helped train both my dogs and he did an amazing job at it. It was always a hassle dealing with them, but thanks to Chris’s help, it’s been a whole lot better. Chris is very understanding and flexible around your schedule. He explains things very clearly and demonstrates also, if needed. My experience with Breakthrough Dog Training has been a good one, definitely one I’d recommend to others.
