Breakthrough K9 Training

I wish I could give them 10 stars. Outstanding staff! They literally saved our family! Our dog had some aggression issues with resource guarding, leash pulling and 3 bites. Our dog did the 3 week board and train. When we picked him up, we were amazed at his transformation. Lennie, Stephanie and the staff not only train your dog, they educate you on how to work with your dog and they are always available for questions. Top notch trainers that truly care about every dog that comes to Breakthrough K9.

We took our COVID pup, Charlie, to Lenny for basic training and he taught her things we never could have. She is such an angel now, thanks to the BTK9 team! She listens and follows commands, even in the presence of distractions. She's well behaved on and off leash. We can't say enough good things about this place - and the best compliment of all... we are taking our new dog to be trained here too! Thanks for all you do!

Breakthrough K9 was exactly what our dog Wolfgang needed. Coming to us as a year old rescue dog, Wolfgang struggled to understand and follow commands, as well as had issues playing with other dogs. After two weeks at Breakthrough K9, Wolfgang was really a whole new animal, with his playful disposition able to more naturally shine through. Our friends were immediately shocked at how well behaved, obedient, and in control of his impulses Wolfgang was when he came home. We now take Wolfgang to stay with Breakthrough K9 whenever we need to board him, and they have become one place that Wolfgang is also happy and excited to be. Can't thank Breakthrough K9 and their fantastic staff enough for the great treatment they provide.

We sent our pitbull mix rescue, Sable, to Breakthrough back in 2019 for a 4 week board and train for severe reactivity to other dogs/animals. We genuinely thought Sable was beyond repair and when we picked her up after the 4 weeks it was like a new dog. All that to say, when we left Breakthrough with Sable, she tested what we would hold her accountable for and still does to this day. We have remained consistent in her training and it continues to pay off. She is a dog that will always need her e-collar and prong collar, but these things make her life and our lives much less stressful. We have boarded Sable here several times since her training and they always take great care of her. Lenny and Stephanie are great people and have a great team that cares about and even believes in dogs that seem beyond repair. Thanks for all you all do!
