Chris is awesome! If you are looking to have your dog trained then look no further. Chris is very easily accessible and ALWAYS answers his phone. He is also very accommodating as well, our pups were still needing to be weighed every month for their heartworm meds, so we would travel there, get weights and then have the meds shipped to him. He gave the medications and he also made time in his very busy schedule to allow us some time to get the weight and all that. We've had 3 French Spaniels go through hunt training and we have been very pleased with their behavior. Chris knew that this particular breed is a bit soft and he did everything he could do to make them learn at their own speed without forcing too much pressure on them. Chris is very active on social media and is constantly posting updates on Facebook to show progression. This makes their time away a little easier knowing what they are doing! He has several game animals on site for the dogs to train with as well so they get exposed to not only birds, but rabbits, ducks, foxes and even wild hogs if you're into that! He also has ponds for the dogs to retrieve from. As far as pricing goes, Chris was cheaper than several other training facilities that we checked out which was an added bonus. Our dogs had a 3-4 month tour at Briarwoods and it was a great investment. I highly recommend that you give Chris a call before you make your final decision on where to send your dog for hunt training. Another thing to note is that he is HONEST! He will let you know if your dog does or doesn't have what it takes to move on to more training.
