Brittani's Pawsitive Dog Training, LLC

I adopted a breed that is very difficult to adopt out apparently. She had been basically left to her own devices for nine months before I brought her home. Needless to say, she had some behavior issues and I was also nervous about her being around our senior kitty. Brittani is the ONLY new person our other/older dog has never bayed at. They both took to Brittani right away! Brittani did a day of training at her house with our adopted adolescent girl, got her used to cats, and had her trained with basic commands on leash in one day. I thought she would need a lot of training but only two lessons! Brittani really encouraged me to give her time when I was freaked out that she would hurt one of the other animals. She let me know what I was doing wrong to make the situation worse and how to make it better. All her tips worked and our girl is doing great now 😊

Petrie, my now service dog, came to Brittani at two years old, for two weeks. The difference she made with Petrie is remarkable! She went from being not so great in public places, with little confidence, into an actual service dog. She has two service tasks down pat and absolutely phenomenal public access. Of course, this is just the beginning of her service task training. She is literally my dream dog, thanks to Brittani’s help. Today, I took Petrie to the vet to update her vaccinations. At this vet, they take her from me and I don’t go back with her into the room. I warned them that she doesn’t care for strangers and that the previous year, the vet decided to muzzle her because she was showing signs of aggression. I just like to tell them upfront so they know what to expect, as I am a dog groomer and appreciate when my clients give me the same respect. Well today, the vet came out to talk to me and brag on how absolutely perfect she was. I was shocked and told him that maybe the near two thousand dollars of training really made a big difference. He said, and I quote, “that’s a big investment but it was worth every penny. She is an excellent dog.” This made me so happy. I knew I could see the huge difference in Petrie, but this is proof that other animal professionals see it as well and are extremely impressed. I’m sorry for such a long review, but if you made it this far, just know you won’t regret taking your dog to Brittani!

Brittani teaches dogs to listen, but beyond that- she teaches them confidence ! She is a miracle worker or dog whisperer, or both. She has given Betsy our rescue pup, a new lease on life- despite Betsys stubbornness and resistance to learning and listening- Brittani stayed loving and patient, and in the end we have a well adjusted confident dog. One who was once a flight risk so bad if the doors were expected to open at any point she would need to be kenneled, and one who had to be put up instead of meeting new people/guests due to unwanted jumping- she is a new girl with listening ears and a much happier life! We owe so much to Brittani, and if your dog needs, compassionate, firm, loving training- then they need to come here!

Our sweet 4 month old Golden Retriever Culver, just finished her week of puppy bootcamp with Brittani. I’m so amazed at how quickly Culver has picked up on commands. She is now loose leash walking, knows “place”, sits to greet a friend, she worked on distance and duration for sit/stay and down/stay. She also passed her Canine Good Citizens!!! We are so impressed by Brittani and her team. She sends daily updates on the pups and cares for them as if they are her own! We booked another training week for August because we love what she has done and trust her so much with our Culver girl!! Thank you Brittani!!!!
