Having a 17 month old labradoodle has its challenges. In September, we were lucky enough to have Cari come and work with us and our dog, Kuma, while she was visiting in Oregon. Kuma had been struggling on walks, recall off leash and anxiety about people coming to our house. With only a couple hours of guidance from Cari, our pup is coming along so well! He is learning to heel, excelling in recall off leash and has learned to get in his bed when visitors arrive and is staying calm until he is released! We have come to realize how smart Kuma is and that WE were the ones that really needed the training. You will not find a more compassionate and professional trainer than Cari!

My dog was a wild, hyper puppy. I cannot thank Southern Peak enough to change our pup’s life. He is obedient and understands exactly what we are asking him to do. He is more calm and good with people/distractions. Last night we took him for trick or treating and he was the most well behaved fur baby! We were informed about his progress time to time when he was in their board and train program. Very responsive and professional and we were made aware of all the decisions being taken. It was a pleasure to work with Southern Peak. In these peaks you see Duke sitting “in place “ he never could stay in one place for more than 2 minutes. Now he waits for our command to follow directions! Huge improvement!
