Building Bonds Behavior Center provides professional, force-free dog training and behavior consulting in Tucson, Sahuarita, and Green Valley, Arizona. Led by certified behavior consultant Kim Silver, Building Bonds specializes in puppy training, everyday behavior challenges including fear, anxiety and stress, using science-based, positive reinforcement methods. When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra,
We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

A year ago, I adopted a dog that was struggling in my house, and Kim Silver came and helped me at my house and gave me extremely detailed and effective guidance with my dogs.
I have recently had Danielle come to my house to do drop in enrichment and dog walking and they love seeing her every time! It's a real blessing to have a highly trained professional be able to walk your dogs.
I would give them more stars if possible! I highly recommend as a wonderful force free (most effective and loving way to train your dog) training program.

Building Bonds is fantastic! We took a great beginner class with Morgan, who is AWESOME! Can't recommend this place or Morgan enough. We all learned so much and we are very much looking forward to future classes!!

My very shy 127 lb puppy St. Bernard attended the Kindergarten Puppy Level 1. She is so much better about being around strangers and how to behave near other dogs. Great class and will be signing up for more with my other dog.

5 stars just isn’t enough to describe this company. My two Standard Poodles have done numerous classes and the structure is perfect, what you get is worth every penny. The trainer will not only guide your dog but will guide you on how to have a better relationship and understanding of what your dog specifically needs from you. You also get access to additional information through Google classroom along with what you’ve learned in each class incase you may have forgotten a thing or two. The class times are so convenient as well. I am a life long customer now and I recommend Building Bonds every opportunity I get!

Building Bonds is a treasure in Tucson! Kim is an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful trainer, and her classes and programming are top notch. For anyone struggling, just getting ready to add a dog (adopt!) or looking for a fun class, check out Building Bonds. Training in person (over board and train) and with an expert like Kim is the way to go. She also references many other good resources and provides a great on-line library for students.
