FirstBarkWe are doing puppy kindergarten here and have been enjoying the experience. The instructor is knowledgeable and my puppy looks forward to coming here weekly.

When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra, We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

We have had an amazing experience with Building Bonds! Kim’s methods align perfectly with our values (positive reinforcement, fear free training) and our dog loves going to class every Saturday! Kim is so knowledgeable and organized, we always know we will walk away with new skills and ideas after each class. The online classroom she provides also has a ton of useful resources for continuing the training at home/outside of class. For all that we get through the class series, it feels like a great value and one that will continue paying off in the many happy years with our pup that are to come. We can’t recommend Building Bonds enough!
Kim is the ideal dog trainer. Patient, kind, and a true guru with pups. I cannot stress what a great experience I had working with her in the group classes. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

We were referred to Kim, the owner of Building Bonds, by some friends who had a standard poodle like us. We began training when our dog was a puppy (he is now a year old) and have continued with her group classes because we find them so helpful to us, and because our dog loves them and loves Kim! And in Tucson in the summer, it’s nice to find a place as an outlet for your dog! Kim is professional and knowledgeable. We often go back and refer to the written handouts she provided with our lessons. All round a five star experience!
