When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra, We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

Kim is amazing! First of all she really ascertained my dog's personality and tailored the training to fit the dog. She also goes out of her way to accomodate her clients. I do not drive, so she came to my home. She sets appointments, sends reminders, and arrives on time. Yes, the training was not cheap, but much cheaper than having a hefty fine (and a loose dog is considered a felony in Tucson!) My dog and I have a new, much better relationship. She is not only more obedient, but she enjoys being so. I absolutely recommend Kim, , without hesitation.

We just wrapped up working with Kim for the last three month on learning how to best help our new rescue with stranger danger (very scared of new people, barking, growling, even one bite.) Through working with Kim my husband and I were able to reach a whole new level of being able to read our girl's body language. We now know how to best support her when she feels nervous, and have a procedure to get new people into our home without our girl freaking out. Our girl went from hating someone just being outside our door to being relaxed and playful with two strangers within our small living space. If we ever return to Tucson for an extended visit again, we'll definitely be reaching out to Kim/Building Bonds to continue our learning. We HIGHLY recommend!
I like training in a classroom setting. It requires your dog to pay attention to you. Kim was very helpful instructing me on how to train my dog and it really made a difference after only 6 lessons. I'm very well behaved and so is my dog!
