Bull Run K9

As a first time dog owner, I wanted all of the help we could get with our new Boxer puppy Cletus. I reached out to a few different local dog trainers and found Casey at BullRunK9 to be the most impressive. He came to our home for the free initial consultation and had an immediate connection with Cletus. His guidance and advice during the 4-week Puppy Training program were so helpful to us as we learned how to teach new commands and skills. I knew that once Cletus was old enough that Casey would be the person I would want to provide Obedience Training. As we got closer to the 12-day Board & Train dates, I felt very anxious, unsure of how Cletus would respond to being away from us. Casey provided MUCH NEEDED reassurance and when he came to pick him up, Cletus was so excited to see his friend and went so easily and willingly with him. As promised, we received updates complete with pics and videos every single night during training showing us all of the new skills Cletus was learning, how comfortable he was with Casey's pack, and how much FUN he was having! It made me feel so much better after the first day, knowing he was in great hands. Cletus has been home for less than a week and we can already see such great improvements in his behavior and his ability to follow commands. We engaged Casey to train our puppy, Olive, using his Puppy University and Board and Train programs. Before we started working with Casey, Olive struggled to listen to direction and was very difficult to deal with. After the Board and Train program she is a completely different puppy. Her behavior has been transformed thanks to Casey. She is much calmer, and listens to direction. Casey sent us regular videos and communications throughout the time Olive was in his care. We are so grateful for Casey’s expertise and would absolutely recommend his services to anyone looking for dog training.

Casey did an amazing job with all of dogs. He made adjustments to meet each of their individual needs, and is fully invested in their success. The obedience camp was a great way to introduce our pups to obedience and the in home sessions help us continue the training and enforce what was they learned. He cares about the dogs deeply and they love him as well. I can pick up the phone and call him with question or problem and he is always responsive and helpful, coming to our house to work on problems with us. I’ve had dogs trained at other companies, but the positive reinforcement that he uses is much more effective, and gives out dogs the confidence they needed. 5 stars all around. Edit- i wanted to mention that 5 of 6 of my dogs are rescues and three have anxiety and one has fear aggression issues. They are ALL doing great on the program!!

Casey is an amazing trainer! Super friendly. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, from explaining the plan and expectations, to providing daily updates with pictures and videos, to training us after the program so we could follow through, and he continues to check in with us to make sure everything is OK. The improvement in our puppy’s behavior after 2 weeks with him has been like night and day! Truly remarkable work. Highly recommended. Thank you Casey!

Casey from Bull Run K9 is a fantastic dog trainer and communicator! We brought our 10-month old untrained rescue puppy to Bull Run K9 in need of basic command training. We chose to enroll her into the 12-day board and train program with Casey, and it was an incredible decision. Our girl had so much fun living with Casey and his pack! Casey sent us daily updates on her progress, along with photos and videos of her! After she came home from her program, she was well trained and listening to every command we gave her! We can tell how much Casey and our dog love each other, because she was sad to see him go! I would highly recommend Casey as a dog trainer to anyone in the Northern Virginia area looking to get professional training for a puppy.
