Bulletproof Dog Training

I paid the following; 2024-05-09 $500 Deposit paid to Bulletproof dog training. 2024-05-14 $3,100 paid to Bulletproof dog training. I contacted Bullet Proof Dog Training, looking for a place to get my husbands dog to be trained as a service dog. Instead of referring me to another facility right away, they said they'd do the dog training portion and would then give me the information of other facilities for the "tasking" portion. Once basic training was complete, we got a list of facilities for doing the "tasking". Turns out, that per industry standards, "tasking" is not done separately but in conjunction with that facilities basic training course work. Given Bulletproof dog training is in the dog industry, they knew they should have not taken us as clients and directly referred us to the correct facility or just not accept us knowing that we'd have to re-pay for dog training. To our horror, after spending $3,600 with Bulletproof dog training, we were informed that Echo would need to redo basic training before being taught tasks due to industry standard. Elite Dog Training's program costs $5,725 for basic training and service task training. So instead of Bulletproof sending us directly to Elite Dog Training, we were presented with paying $5,725 after we had already spent $3,600 at Bulletproof. (For an additional $2,125, we would have had our dog trained and tasked for service work. Instead of spending $5,725, we were in a position, because of Bullet Proof's bad business practices, set up to pay ($3,600 Bullet Proof + $5,725 = $9,325) $9, 325 for service dog training instead of $5,725 with Elite Dog Training alone. I talked to the Bullet Proof Dog Training Company's owner on the phone. He did not care about what happened to us. In fact, he told us we could train out own service dog per ADA guidelines.

Bulletproof is top to bottom is friendly, welcoming, direct, and you can tell the employees are passionate about their craft. Our pup Mochi did the 2 week program with trainer Alli. She was very available and attentive to both our needs and Mochi all questions answered at drop off as well as pickup. When picking her up you could tell Mochi enjoyed her time at Bulletproof. She formed a nice bond with Alli :) You can immediately notice a difference in Mochi’s overall demeanor, she has manners and is vey compliant and attentive with the rules set forth. It is important all dog owners set foundational knowledge for their dogs. It helps them navigate distractions and stressors of life, thus making the relationship between owner and pet much stronger for years to come :) Of course we will work on some hw as owners ,but thank you all so much !

My 8 month pocket bully, Tanker Tot, attended the 15 day board and train at Bulletproof Dog Training and the results are phenomenal. Lauryn Ward was his trainer. She texted daily updates, pictures, and videos and had great communication with me throughout the process. I am very pleased with Tank's training, and I look forward to having him become a service dog when he is old enough.
