Bulletproof Dog Training - Puppy Training Center

So I know basset hounds are stubborn and difficult to train. My expectations for the training itself was fairly low going into a 21 day board and train program. However, I was extremely disappointed with the communication from the trainer on my pup while I was out of the country on vacation. I did not get updates unless I asked for them (I included the text conversation in the photos attached to my review- only skipping over the photos and videos sent). I was supposed to pick him up on his 21st day, but he was struggling in training so they asked for additional days. They also offered an additional week of training for free when I picked him up. I dont know if it was the kennel he was boarded at, or the training company, but when I picked up Cooper, I was given back 4 cans of wet food. He was with them for 24 days, and I sent him with 24 cans of food (he has 1 can a day), so he wasn't fed to my instructions. I was never informed if he was having issues eating or anything like that. He has been acting semi aggressive around mealtimes and food, which had never been an issue before. Also, he did lose a pound or two while I was away. On pickup, I arrived at 4:20pm, we agreed on a 4:30 pickup. The trainer was working with another dog and family, and came across very rudely when he asked me to leave and wait in my car. It was after 5 when he had finished and retrieved Cooper from the kennel. We went through the class, which I asked him to record. It's been 5 days since pickup, and I never received the video of the class or my reunion with my pup. Overall, I am disappointed in the care he received in the boarding kennel this training company uses, and the communication i received from the trainer. Even if i wanted to take them up on the free week to improve his training on the basic commands, i wouldn't trust them to have the basic care and feeding i would expect for my pup.
