I read your review. I'm sorry you were unhappy about the class. I don't understand why you said there was no information on body language. Our classes not only include information on how dogs use body language to communicate with other dogs but we also teach our students how dogs use body language to try to communicate with their owners. In all of our classes we initially use treats to create a hand signal (body language). We add the word for the exercise when the dog can perform it well. We teach people how dogs think. When you have a problem with your dog it's not a problem for them, they're just being dogs. The problem really is that the dog doesn't understand that many things they naturally do are not appropriate when they live with people. So when they are doing something we don't like, we don't punish them. We either prevent the behavior or interrupt them and redirect them to do something that is more appropriate. Basically we teach them to make better choices. <br><br>In reference to the lemon juice for barking (and sometimes for whining) what we do is not inhumane. We use lime juice because it is more sour than lemon juice. It only takes a couple of drops. When they taste it they pucker up and stop barking. This method calls attention to where the problem is. They stop long enough for the person to reward them for being quiet. Eventually they will stop when they hear the word "quiet".<br><br>I am sorry you didn't bring your concerns to me four years ago when you were attending our classes so we could have addressed this at that time.
