Caitlin's Animal Training

Earlier this afternoon I have met with Caitlin as she was getting food. I was so excited because I had thought about coming to her for help training my dog. As I asked her how much her sessions were she asked me what my budget was and I was a little confused what this had to do with asking how much she charges for her sessions. Anyways she told me that she wouldn’t be the right fit because her sessions were “ a little to expensive” and told me to go to petco. All I had simply asked was how much they were to cost, because I was young and worked at a fast food joint I was stereotyped as “broke”. I will never recommend this trainer who simply thinks she’s above the rest of us with her rude and arrogant attitude.

We started working with Caitlin from our home in Easton, PA when our poodle puppy, Pepper, was only 11 weeks old, and the difference has been amazing! Pepper was struggling with typical puppy challenges like potty training (always waking us up in the middle of the night!), jumping on people, getting overly excited during greetings, walking calmly, and settling in her crate. Caitlin gave us practical, positive-reinforcement techniques that we could actually use at home. Pepper is now sleeping through the night without needing a potty break, doing so well in her crate at night, walking calmly, learning to keep all four paws on the floor when greeting people, and even waiting for permission before going to say hello. She’s also learned leave-it, going to her bed, responding to her name, and several other skills. We’re so impressed with how much progress Pepper has made at such a young age. Caitlin has been patient, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with, and she’s given us a great foundation for raising Pepper into a well-mannered dog. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone bringing home a new puppy!
