I highly recommend Caitlin! Had the pleasure of meeting her years back at a BNI meeting. Just a lovely person all the way around. So knowledgeable about so many situations. If you reach out to her she is very responsive! She listens to you and what you are looking for, if she can help she will and if it's out of her wheel house she has the resources! It's hard to find a reputable dog trainer with good knowledge! She has always been there to answer questions and help along the way even while looking for the right pup for us. We first found Caitlin as we were looking for in home vacation pet care. She was good with the dogs and cat for in home care and was respectful. Which is why we reached back out to her two more times. However - she takes the training so seriously its as if she doesn't understand people have other things going on in their lives. We were trying to have her work with our on dog recently on some protection issues & because I didn't see the forms we were supposed to fill out, she wanted us to reschedule. We have a newborn, my partner and I work two different schedules, day & night & she has worked with him before. I asked if we could not reschedule and I could fill out next time. She canceled 13 minutes before she was due to show. Which I told her I was not happy about leaving work for & she said she was going to have to decline us as clients. Not to mention initially when I asked how much it would cost - she let us know her going rate is $175 an hour. Do doctors even make that? Also, when I was pregnant, I reached out to her about possibly helping (letting the dogs out 1/2 days when I'd be in the hospital) with the dogs when I went into labor & her response was it would cost about $1300 to reserve a month on retainer because you just can't know when a baby is going to come. In my opinion she's not very flexible and feels like the world kind of revolves around pet training. I am sure she is very good, but you also have to be able to make it work for the people doing the training..

With the help from Caitlin I have been able to overcome so much with my service dog, Daisy. Both with my disability and in her training. I have severe arthritis in both my knee so I rely on Daisy to help me get things (keys, remote, mail, or anything I drop and can’t bend down to pick it up). Daisy also helps me with my anxiety, she is a good cuddler and listener. She doesn‘t judge me if we need to sit so I can calm down which is super helpful. When I go in public and it’s busy I think that everyone is looking at me and judging me but knowing that daisy is by my side I focus on her. Petting her helps when I stand in lines and having her lean on me and give kisses when asked helps when we’re sitting in a public area. Daisy used to struggle with wanting to sniff everything, which a service dog cannot do while working. Now she can easily focus everywhere we go. She also struggled with walking nice on leash but with guidance and lots of patience she overcame that as well. Right now we’re working on her biggest distraction which is barking and excitable dogs, where she once focused on the dogs and paid no attention to me, we are quickly overcoming this obstacle as well. I don’t know where we would be right now without Caitlin‘s help and expertise. She is so patient, kind, and understanding with us and helps us to thrive as a team.

Caitlin is amazing at what she does. She is super knowledgeable and really has taken the time to understand the issues I was having with my dog. She found the root of our problem and my dog is starting to succeed! She is always very prompt on getting back to me. I look forward to working with her more and gaining knowledge to make my dogs life the best it can be. Thank you for all your help Caitlin!!!
