Caitlin's Animal Training

I'm from Easton, PA, and I can't recommend Caitlin's Animal Training enough. My six-year-old Golden Retriever, Leo, became very anxious and possessive whenever anyone got close to me or even tried to hug me. I wasn't sure if things could really change after so many years, but Caitlin gave us hope from the very first session. She is trustworthy, attentive, honest, encouraging, and incredibly approachable. Using positive reinforcement, she taught me how to teach Leo to relax, go to his bed, focus on me, and stay calm when guests come into our home. Every session built on the last, and while we're still polishing a few things, the progress has been incredible. Caitlin also helped me through the process. She reminded me to celebrate the small wins and showed me just how much Leo and I were growing together as a team. If you're looking for a positive reinforcement dog trainer in Easton or the Lehigh Valley who truly cares about both you and your dog, I highly recommend scheduling a session with Caitlin's Animal Training.

I should’ve trusted the comments warning about her and I completely regret investing 3k to train my anxious dog. Caitlin will make you feel like you’re a terrible owner and you have a terrible dog, she self diagnosed my dog, kept exaggerating on my dog behavior, made comments that came across as sarcastic, and was rude to my husband during our sessions. She clearly has knowledge about dog training, but her communication and people skills were extremely disappointing. From the beginning she was very arrogant and I decided to ignore it as I’ve already paid for it. But I no longer could tolerate with her bad attitude anymore, I didn’t even asked for a refund as I know she will not give it, reading reviews about it only confirmed that matter. EDIT*** I find it very concerning that, instead of addressing my experience as a client, you chose to make false personal accusations about me. I do not own a German Shepherd, and I have never hit, yelled at, or verbally abused my husband, nor have I ever used a shock collar on my dog. These statements are completely false. My review reflects my personal experience with your attitude and professionalism. After reading your response, I don’t feel the need to say much more. It speaks for itself. It’s concerning that you would publicly make such serious allegations without even having the correct facts about your own client.

I couldn’t get past her rude & incredibly obnoxious pompous attitude. Within 15 seconds of that phone call I knew it was a hard no, within 30 she insulted me, twice. The funny part - I don’t need the help. My dogs are perfectly behaved, I was getting information for a dear friend. As a self employed business owner - she has A LOT to learn. *My interaction with you over the phone was enough. That’s exactly why we didn’t have any future experience. Thanks!

I'm from Coplay in the Lehigh Valley, and I can't say enough about my experience with Caitlin's Animal Training. My biggest goal was to help Chloe feel comfortable in public because she was extremely anxious and reactive around other dogs. Even after trying training on my own, we just couldn't make lasting progress. Caitlin completely exceeded every expectation. She treated Chloe like she was her own dog, kept me updated throughout the entire board and train with photos and videos, and genuinely cared about Chloe's happiness and well-being. Today, Chloe is calm outside, confidently comes when called, and has gone several days without barking or reacting to other dogs—something I honestly never thought was possible. If you're looking for a positive reinforcement dog trainer in Coplay or the Lehigh Valley who truly understands reactive dogs and cares deeply about both you and your dog, I can't recommend Caitlin enough. She didn't just train Chloe—she gave us the confidence to enjoy life together again.

Caitlin is a miracle worker! My puppy, Sadie, could only ever think about was what non-edible THINGS she could shove in her mouth 24/7! I was told by the vet she didn't have PICA (eating non-edible items) and was just "very food motivated". This became a major problem in our routine and we became worried this would adversely affect our new puppy's quality of life over time. Then along came Caitlin! We signed up for her most popular package and while we have learned a lot with our in-home coaching sessions nothing prepared us for the sheer transformation during our Sadie's 2 week board and train. We got daily updates, photos, videos, and homework instructions AS WELL AS a transfer session so we can be consistent at home. Sadie finally listens to "leave-it", comes when called, has stopped jumping on guests, knows her obedience, and is a happier dog because of it. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, she is no longer thinking about food 24/7 thanks to the supplements Caitlin suggested. We couldn't be happier!
