FirstBarkI have been with the CaliK9 team for months now, and can honestly say i made the right decision for my girl Maya, she is a German Shepherd, reactive towards dogs and thanks to the CaliK9 team, Jas, Madison, and Jason who is amazing! Being part of the Cali K9 community has been an incredible experience. I have learned so much from my trainer, Jason, as well as from Jas and the other members in the community. Everyone is so encouraging and clearly loves their dogs. Jason has been an incredible trainer and teacher. He is very patient with me, and truly dedicated to the Cali K9 method. He takes the time to explain the reason why we work the dogs a certain way. Through working with him, I have learned how to better communicate with my strong willed dog, and our bond has grown so much. I have also really enjoyed watching Jas work with his own dog. It’s the main reason I joined the program. I said whatever he’s doing with his dog I want to do with mine! And I’m so happy I did! It’s exactly what I needed to bring my dogs to the next level!

Even though my malinois went through puppy training board and train and bite work the one issue I’ve always had with her is her anxiety around other dogs. It got to the point where she even escaped daycare few times. So having these group sessions have been great because we have been able to focus on her attention only to me and still paying attention to the commands. I give her even though there are dogs that are much larger than her around us. Jason has been a great help. He’s been there since day one starting with the semi private lessons and I appreciate the two home visits. We had to help get my new puppy on track with his training (which has been easier compared to all my other dogs because he literally follows everything his sister does and now she’s a good role model… lol until she feels like pulling out the princess card) thanks CaliK9
