Working with Annie was just as much about training me as it was training our dog, and that’s what made all the difference. She didn’t just show us what to do; she taught us the fundamentals of how dogs actually learn, so we could be consistent and confident when we practiced what we learned. We worked with her once a week for about 10–12 weeks, and every session built on the last in a really practical, repeatable way. Because of that, Bandit now has 100% recall and truly listens to us, but more importantly, he’s a more confident, well-adjusted dog. Focusing on his confidence in everyday situations made a huge impact on his overall personality. I’m so glad we made the investment—it’s paid off every single day. I’d absolutely recommend Annie and Caliche Dog Works to anyone who wants lasting results, not just quick fixes.

When we first got our dog, Bandit, he was afraid of everything—he wouldn’t even go on a walk. Annie was an amazing help! First and foremost, Bandit fell in love with her almost immediately. She’s so good with dogs of all breeds and personalities. Bandit was particularly difficult to train because of his low motivation towards food, but Annie was able to motivate him with affection and some revolving high value treats. He learned how to go to his “place” (a predefined space in the house), he developed off leash recall, and more. I’m so happy that we worked with Annie and I’m thrilled with how Bandit has grown. Found a little mop on the side of the road. Cleaned it up to find a resource guarding trash goblin inside. Caliche Dog Works helped me implement low-conflict crate training for a little dog that would rather bite and fight than be crated for his gastrointestinal safety while I'm out or sleeping. Knowledgable about different ways to shape dog behavior, Annie assisted in tailoring a program ideal for me and my best bud Monty.
