As a small, locally owned business, we work hard to be clear, fair, and flexible with every client. Our refund policy is available in multiple places such as on our website, your receipt/invoice, the orientation handout that was emailed to you, and posted at the front desk, so that clients are fully informed before booking. We encourage everyone to review refund policies before purchases with us or any business. Our policy states that we offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase and refunds made more than 30 days after purchase qualify for a 50% refund. Even though your request for a refund came nearly two months after purchase, we went above our policy to offer you a 75% refund as a courtesy. Additionally, when you missed / did not show for a class you booked, we reached out to you and chose not to charge you our standard late-cancel fee as a courtesy to you as well. We are very lenient when life happens and plans change, and we really do try to work with each client in a fair and thoughtful way, while also balancing sustainability for our small team of 5. We’re open 7 days a week and offer ongoing, flexible class options to make it easy for our clients to find times that work with their schedule. When this incident occurred, there were no dogs outside and the dog in question was at least 100 feet away from the advertisements inside the building. Once the dog reacted to the man looking in the window, he made movements continuing to aggravate the dog. The trainer teaching the class was attempting to coach the client who was handling the dog to create distance from the window. As the group of people outside moved away, the client flipped the group off out of frustration. It was an unfortunate incident for all involved.
