I am nearing the end of the Feisty Fido course with my very anxious dog Maisie. Lauren has been patient, kind and encouraging throughout and has lots of helpful tips for all kinds of issues. Karishma's content addresses a variety of triggers and underlying issues with lots of example videos to help you learn. I particularly recommend this course if you suspect underlying health problems with your dog as your coach will have a lot of insight on this. The course includes loads of resources which you can keep accessing after the course. In some ways, I found the group coaching difficult because our dog is so sensitive she needs a slower pace than the others and it can be hard to compare your progress to others, but it was also really lovely to speak to people around the world finding having a dog hard - it often felt like therapy for me, even more so than for our dog. I have also learnt things that will be helpful forever, not just during the course. Private coaching is also available though which I would consider in the future. Took the Feisty Fido online course with Lauren. In just three months we have made so much progress with our reactive rescue! We have made huge strides in our furkid riding in the car - we went from him screaming the entire way to taking him on a three day road trip with very few barks/screams. Lauren has also done a simply amazing job teaching me how to pick up on my kiddo's body language/behavior so I can best learn how to help him (such an invaluable skill!). We've actually already signed up for a second semester so that we can continue to build on the great progress we have made.

CCA was the BEST that could have ever happened to us. We’re from Germany and did the Stranger Danger and the Separation Skills group course online for our reactive and anxious dog Barney and couldn‘t be happier with the guidance we received and the results we have achieved so far. Namita has been such a great support and a wealth of knowledge since the beginning. Working with the Calm Canine Academy (CCA) not only helped me build up my dogs confidence but they also helped me become more confident as a reactive dog owner. Reactivity isn’t a quick fix, if you’re looking for that, then you need to need more education. CCA is a great training program for you to learn how to be the best dog owner for your dog. It’s personalized to what your dog needs. Things go at your and your dogs pace. I highly recommend CCA for anyone struggling with dog reactivity.
