When I first contacted Sue at Calm Family Dog Training, I was at my wit’s end with my rescue “Plab” puppy. She was 14 months old and still wild and seemingly untrainable. Within two of the five lesson package, Pollie was a completely different dog, able to sit, stay and learning to walk nicely without dragging me all over the place. Now, after all 5 sessions, Pollie is a delightful, fun, high-energy dog that is also well behaved and listens to instructions. We can now run & play off-leash, because Pollie is reliably trained and obeys commands. It’s all due to Sue and her training that doesn’t just focus on the dog, but also teaching the owners how to interact and help their dog give them the desired response. Sue helped Pollie and me enormously. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
Our dog came home well trained and well loved! We are so thankful for the time and attention spent to help us all! Highly recommend!
Our sweet Mosley completed Susan’s week long puppy training. He came back a new boy! He learned the place, sit, and heel commands. His crate and door manners are so impressive. Instead of dreading the jumping and puppy biting, we are enjoying him. His behavior no longer rules the family…he’s a sweet part of the family!
