We sent our pup, Rosie, for the 3 week board and train session. She’s a good dog, but she wouldn’t come when called and refused to walk on a leash since we rescued her. Angie was SUPER quick in her response and setting up a time that worked best for both of us. We picked her up, and I was almost in tears because I was so impressed! Rosie wouldn’t walk on a leash at all, and now not only is she walking on a leash, but she does it flawlessly. The commands she already knew were also reinforced to perfection. Most importantly, It was so clear when we went to pick her up how much the girls loved Rosie and how much she loves them. We do not have human children yet, and our dogs are our babies. They updated us every single day with what Rosie did, and we were able to log in and see updates. The girls were sad to see her go, and Rosie didn’t want to leave! We went ahead and booked our other dog because the entire experience was so enjoyable. I won’t send our dogs anywhere else for boarding or training!

I brought my 3 year old catahoula here for a 5 week board and train and WOW! What a huge difference they were able to make in just 5 weeks! He is headstrong and getting him to listen consistently has been a struggle. But after his stay, my boy is calmer and WAY more obedient. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it’s clear how genuinely they care for all dogs under their care. It was obvious when I picked up my boy that he loved the staff there. I received frequent updates regarding his training progress and activity. Being a concerned dog mom, I called to check on my buddy frequently and they always took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. Best thing I could’ve done for my dog to set him up for success moving forward. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If a business cannot do what the customer is paying for and what the customer requested, there is no reason to continue the business relationship and continue to receive payment for services not rendered, but this business does. 5 weeks and thousands of dollars down the drain. The customer should have been called within a week to tell them they could not correct dog aggression, but they didn't. They continued to teach basic commands and not even address the dog aggression. It was made clear by the customer that dog aggression was the reason for the training. Shame on you, Camelot. From Camelot:. We are sorry for your dissatisfaction with our services, however we never guarantee we can "fix" dog aggression. Morgan and I both worked very closely with Bear to try and help him learn to ignore another dog. We were told in the beginning that the goal was to try and have him get along with a roommates dog, it was not until the end of the 5 week session and on the day of his go home, that we were informed that you were trying to make him be able to live with another large male dog. We did our best and exposed him to multiple dogs, but his level of dog aggression is over the top. We did nothing wrong in continuing to work with him, he is a great dog, and very smart, and obedience is very important when you have a dog with that level of aggression. but he has had no dog socialization and his level of aggression is extreme. I wish you the best of luck. My reply:. Thank you for your reply. However, it was made clear to you in the beginning that was the only reason he was being sent there. He has had dog socialization in the past but was attacked a couple of years ago and that was all relayed to you. No one from your facility ever communicated any updates about his "extreme" aggression the entire 5 weeks he was at your facility. The updates were only about how he could obey sit, stay, etc. We never saw a video with another dog. If you would have made his dog aggression the priority like you were asked, you would have seen right away, just like you did yesterday after he was brought back to you, that it was extreme. If you would have focused on the aggression from the beginning and not basic commands and communicated the extreme aggression and the inability too curb it, Bear would have been taken out of Camelot instead of throwing away $2000 to learn to sit and stay for 5 weeks. You should have known within 2 weeks about his "extreme" dog aggression and communicated with the customer instead of continuing to take money for something you were not even properly addressing and may not be qualified to address. The customer in no way should have paid that amount of money. We will have to agree to disagree on this matter.

Artie is an energetic and eager Lab puppy. As a pup, he was curious...he required constant supervision and a lot of correction only to repeat bad behaviors. His need for training exceeded my time and patience quickly; it was clear we needed help. I called several trainers in the area. Angie called me back - confident she could help. Not only did she answer all of my questions, I was invited to visit the facility to make sure it was the right place for us. Angie was very clear about how the dogs are trained and how to continue the learning/training process at home. I received daily email updates on Artie’s progress and bi-weekly weight reports in addition to the occasional photo or post on the Facebook page. All of the communication from them was very reassuring - Artie was doing well. I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen when Artie came home – would he retain everything he learned or would he return to be destructive and rowdy. The day Artie graduated, the trainers worked with me to learn what Artie had learned. I had trusted them to be professionals and I would not be disappointed. No more jumping, no more random barking (from Artie or me). He sits – at the door, at the food dish, and any time I tell him. He heels at my side – no tugging on the leash. He knows he has a special place and goes there if told or whenever he wants to rest. He knows all of this and much more! We will have a couple of follow up sessions to make sure Artie and I are staying on track with the training. He is still energetic and eager. The difference now is that he is proud to show off his new knowledge - his good behavior. I cannot thank all the fine trainers at Camelot enough for helping me help Artie become a fine young dog and a great member of the family. Play time is fun and working on his skills is easier than I could have ever imagined. We will definitely be back for swimming lessons and anytime Artie needs a vacation. I highly recommend them to turn your beast into a best friend!
