Brief warning for locals We were scammed out of 3500.00 by ‘Can Your Dog Do This’ in the Wake Forest area. We left our 6 year old collie with them for 3 weeks and ended up picking her up early. We noticed at a family visit she was not being trained on anything we agreed on.there was also NO UPDATES. I was very clear she had basic commands and leash training, we were looking for off-leash and some food aggression evaluated. We are disputing the charge after many failed attempts to reconcile with the owner- who was ARRESTED on felony charges during our dogs time at the facility and detained for several days- which likely led to her not being properly trained to the agreed expectations. Conveniently- all social media, websites, Google pages, and Yelp pages have been removed. We cannot find a trace of the company that had many years of reviews. We have been told 3x that they would contact us to discuss a refund but I guess it’s hard to communicate when you’re on house arrest.

What can I say except I highly recommend Can Ur Dog Do This - not sure where to go I reached out to Steve and the team to help my daughter with her 90+lb young Lab "Night". Smart and beautiful but unsure of himself and everything around him... Before the holidays (Dec 2025) we left him at Can Ur Dog Do this for the 4-week training. My daughter received immediate updates during the entire time. In addition, we had the opportunity and still do, to have one on one training so that Night continues to grow as a self-assured part of the family. He came home last week, and you can tell just from his face he understands the world around him and understands his part in this family. What a difference. This would not have been possible without Steve and the team - I cannot express how much we appreciate what he has done for Night and us in better understanding how we can relate to our family dog.. Thank You

I was considering having to rehome my sweet dog, and tried these guys as a last resort. After 4 weeks I’m kicking myself that I didn’t go to them a year ago. Before: I couldn’t walk my dog anywhere because of how reactive he was…constantly pulling on his leash. Now: I walked my dog through Home Depot, and it was a very relaxed experience. True story. Thank you all SO MUCH.

We got Dakota from a neighbor, he continued to get out, and was a free roaming dog and would end up at our house and one of always had to take him home. After about 3 years of this they said they were going to take him to the pound and we couldn't let that happen. He's big, 100 lbs. GSD mix of something even bigger, so he's intimidating. He was reactive and aggressive towards other dogs but very sweet with people and kids. After scaring a few neighbors we brought him to Can Ur Dog Do This? We did a board and train. He's doing great. He seemed to get attached to the trainers and he always seemed happy when I went in to train with him. He's not reacting or being aggressive toward other dogs. At the park he walks right passed them. He's even doing it off leash. No more pulling on walks, he takes commands, and I learned a lot about keeping the training going at home, what to do, what to expect, etc. Highly recommend. The video I attached to this is 3 weeks after finishing training, he's in a open field off leash playing fetch with my kids. He would've wondered off before or just did his own thing.
