I sent my dog for Board and Train to Amber at Cane Sportivo, and I wish I would have done it sooner! So, for the first time ever, I took M. for a walk in my neighborhood! It was a leisurely walk. A relaxed walk. There wasn’t any fear about him bolting. He walked right beside me and minded me. We had a really good walk 🥹🥹♥️ I’m very impressed!! ***Here is why I’ve never walked him in the neighborhood: well, his behavior and not listening to me. We have big dogs in the neighborhood that I sometimes see not leashed, and I would have NEVER felt comfortable enough to do it in fear my dog would bolt towards them at first sight. Today, he listened the first time!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ My shoulder doesn’t feel like it’s being pulled ten ways. I should add that my dog is a 75-lb German Shepherd puppy! So, I am feeling like this training (and continued reinforcement) has given us a new freedom ☺️ Amber at Cane Sportivo made it possible! I also would like to add that upon pickup, Amber took time to explain to me everything she had worked on with my dog, even though we were in constant communication with her providing me with updates throughout his training. She made sure I understood everything and assured me that I could contact her if had any questions. know that I will be going to Cane Sportivo for my dog training needs in the future!
