When we first got Scout, our German Shepherd, he was testing me and my fiancé on a daily basis. We did one on one trainings with Jodi and he had progressed, but the most effective thing we did was send him to a week of boarding. He got to socialize with other dogs, other puppies, and learned a lot of useful commands and habits. One thing to keep in mind, training is only as effective as the owner makes it. Dogs need structure, and training is a daily thing, not just a board and done. Jodi did a great job of communicating this with us, and now we have a 3 year old sweet dog!
