Canine Behavioral Services has been life changing for us and our dog. A scared, anxious and somewhat misunderstood rescue dog is now a confident, fun-loving, happy and well-behaved companion. Canine Behavioral Services helped us give our dog his best life - their work has been truly remarkable and we can't thank them enough!
We continue to use their services for boarding and they reinforce all the learnings and make our dog feel at home. When we travel, he looks forward to visiting his friends. We couldn't be happier with Canine Behavioral Services!

We can’t say enough good things about Brian and his incredible team! We first came to them when our 1-year-old puppy started showing some challenging behaviors—resource guarding, pulling on the leash, and just not listening like he used to. It was important to us to find a trainer who used positive reinforcement methods (no shock collars or harsh techniques), and that’s exactly what we found here.
Brian and his team were phenomenal. They not only worked wonders with our pup during his board-and-train stay, but they also spent many hours with us afterwards to make sure we knew how to keep the progress going at home. The “train the trainer” part was just as valuable as the work they did with our dog directly.
We’ve continued to use their boarding services since, and every experience has been fantastic. It’s such a relief to know our dog is in kind, capable hands when we’re away. Truly can’t recommend them enough!

We got my Aussie/Husky mix, Rex, about 18 months ago after spending the first 9 months of his life as a stray in Mississippi. He came to us a good and affectionate boy, but definitely had some hesitation toward other dogs. Leash reactivity was a big issue, ad we are an active family. Furthermore, once he decided he liked a dog, he would force his friendship on them which didn't always end well. He was a lot.
We initially chose Canine Behavioral Speciaists due to their close proximity to our house, but have been beyond impressed with them. We have used the Daycare and overnight services as well as getting his nails trimmed.
The daycare has been invaluable. With monitored play time, he has learned from other dogs how to behave and has become very emotionally intelligent to the feedback from other dogs. We have stopped forcing friendship, and now are very okay with just being pack members with other dogs and not besties. His ability to greet dogs on a leash is light years beyond where it was when he came to me. It isn't perfect, but we are 95% of the way there. Mostly because Rex is more confident in reading the other dog, a direct byproduct of using the daycare services.
We send him one day a week. Sometimes twice. Often we don't need the services, but it has been such an invaluable asset to him adjusting to us with a young family (kids of 2 and 6) that we will send him anyways just to keep up the socialization and ability to interact with the pack.
Plus he loves his time there.
We expect to continue to work with the team here for many years to come and i can confidently recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

CBS has been amazing for our girl, Naya! She started as a pup in their two-week day training program, and we’ve kept her in daycare ever since. The staff is incredibly accommodating, always working with our schedule, and their love for the dogs truly shows.
As a first-time dog owner, it means the world to see how excited Naya gets when we pull into the parking lot—she can’t wait to see her friends and the wonderful staff! It’s clear she’s well cared for in a safe, fun environment. She was shy and timid at first but they have really assisted in breaking her out of her shell and she has expanded her “friend group”. This is noticeable outside of daycare as well!
CBS came highly recommended to me, and I’ve happily passed along my own recommendation to others. The team is knowledgeable and always willing to answer our questions, offering tips and tricks that have been so helpful at home. I can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind they provide.
