We just finished a board and train with Canine by Design, and they did an awesome job! Our English Mastiff is a nervous dog who is very timid and unsure of new people that enter our home. They helped us implement a "place" command so our big guy could go and relax while people are in our home. He was also very nervous outside of our home, and they took him on many field trips to help desensitize him to new surroundings. They also did some loose leash training, and now we can go on walks without him pulling or wanting to go ahead of us. Lex has been so great with our follow up sessions and has answered all our questions to insure we have continued success! We have loved our experience with Canine by Design and are so grateful for how well they took care of our big boy!

Jess and Ashleigh both provided updates throughout the week with photos and summary of what Bullseye had been up to, including multiple walks daily, park or play time, and being brushed out or any grooming needs thry felt necessary. Bullseye was picked up and dropped off promptly and I feel they went above and beyond to make sure he was happy. Pets are cared for in their homes, not just in a locked room. We made the decision to buy 2 GSD puppies (litter mates) and were overwhelmed by their energy and wrestling. We put both dogs in their 4 week board and train program when they were 6 months old. Jason and Jess on the administrative side and Kailey and Lex as the trainers were amazing!!! They addressed specific behavioral issues like barking and running to the door. Which was a huge problem for us, especially with little kids coming over to play with our kids. Kailey and Lex corrected this in both dogs, its so nice! I can walk them both at the same time if I want and they both walk loose leash and dont bark at other dogs or people. No more aggressive wrestling with each other and greet people calmly without jumping. We would HIGHLY recommend Canine by Design to anyone!!
