Canine Coach Academy

We were referred to Canine Coach Academy through a neighbor after a few weeks of searching for a good trainer. Mikayla has been INCREDIBLE. We love our dog so much and genuinely feel like she is our child, so proper training by a professional was a non-negotiable. We started with the two week personal training program while on vacation, and came back to a completely new dog who was well behaved and loving life. Our 6 (now 8) month old mini bernedoodle learned so many valuable commands that have made our lives so much easier. After training she has completely stopped nipping/biting/jumping, she is great on the leash with her “heel” command, and at home in her “place” command. Our pup also is great around other dogs now. She behaves at the dog park while still having a blast. Mikayla also very much values continued training, and will teach YOU how to continue the training at home. Mikayla has made our dog obedient while still maintaining her spirit and personality. I can’t imagine what life would be like if we didn’t do this. We still board our dog with Mikayla when we travel, and will continue to do so to reinforce training. Also, our dog loves it. She starts wagging her tail when we pull down Mikayla’s street because she knows she is about to see all of her friends! Couldn’t recommend Canine Coach Academy enough.

We have a 7 month old wolfedoodle puppy and found Mikayla and Canine Coach Academy online. She has been so incredible to work with. We have a 3 year old daughter and one on the way. With a new puppy around, we needed her to be well trained before she is full grown (80-90 pounds and about 4 feet tall.) We decided to do the two week puppy camp at her house to really master the basics. Winnie came back a completely different dog! She has all of her basic commands down and we are progressing towards the next round of training which will be E-Collar so that we can have her off leash. Mikayla is clearly so passionate about animals and has done several follow up lessons with Winnie to make sure we are reinforcing the correct behaviors as she gets older. We can’t recommend her and her program enough!

Mikayla is so patient with learning different dogs. She helped us learn how to walk our dog Cashew on a leash without him pulling. It has been a life saver! He is also learning the stay command, which is helpful when we have guests coming over. Mikayla is such a great trainer and our doggo loved learning new things with her! Highly recommend getting your dog trained with her!! Her knowledge is off the charts when it comes to your four legged best friend!
