FirstBarkhad a great experience with Canine confidence center this morning. Our pup Jake immediately became friends with Mike at our meeting introductory class. He was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and very kind to us. Jake really had a great time and felt very comfortable in this new environment

Mike was fantastic with our dog training session. He was knowledgeable and detailed when explaining things. He gave tangible ideas and steps to try with our training, demonstrated what to do, and had us practice. Our dog loved working with him and we highly recommend his services!
Since welcoming our son, our shepherd has struggled with sharing the spotlight. We scheduled to have Mike come over and see what our options were. Immediately, I knew Mike was the real deal. So did Kobe! We quickly came up with a plan to address the behaviors we were looking to change. Mike was knowledgable and super down to earth. Highly recommend trusting him with your furry friend.

I cannot share enough good things about the CCC. Mike's knowledge of operant conditioning and other theories of training are made all the more impressive by his ability to explain the ideas to someone who doesn't speak dog or psychology. He's not a "one size fits all" sort of trainer, and takes each dog's personality and context into consideration prior to building a plan in collaboration with the owner. Aside from his effective implementation of training methods (my dog was able to change her behavior in just one session!), he built my confidence (as an owner) up enough to be the leader my dog needs me to be. The more tools I've obtained from his practice, the more empowered I've become. Simultaneously, I've gained acute awareness of how much more there is to learn. If you find yourself in a situation where you are feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or generally at a loss for how to give your dog the ability to thrive in a human world (so that you can both enjoy each other's company), please please please consider CCC.

He answered all of our questions in a clear and concise manner as well as walked us through exercises we can do to help resolve the issues! You can tell he really cares for the dogs with how much patience he shows and how honest he is! I have so much more confidence walking my reactive dog and having company over with the knowledge and exercises he provided! Would definitely recommend!
