Canine Connection

I reached out to canine connections in search of support for my dog, Eddie. He was adopted from a local animal shelter and had yet to learn basic commands/manners. He also struggled with reactivity towards other animals due to over-excitement, which often came across as being aggressive towards others-when in reality, he loves EVERYONE. It became challenging to have confidence when simply going outside or even having friends and family over. I was matched with Anna and they were super accommodating with my schedule. Even when I myself struggled to be consistent with his training, they were incredibly understanding and flexible with re-covering topics. They helped me better understand Eddie’s behavior and how to redirect it positively. They always made sure I understood each lesson and why we were doing it. He has progressed so significantly, I am beyond grateful. It’s improved his life as much as mine. We can now both enjoy our walks and visits with friends-stress free :) Thank you Canine Connections!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Sarah and her team with two of my dogs. Each experience very different from the next. My first dog was very high anxiety and fearful of (well everything) and I worked with Sarah privately on her fear and even got her to go to Shy Dog Social where she was able to come out of her shell. Currently we are working with my puppy who is a 180 personality wise. He may be a little TOO social. I have gone through both her Puppy Kindergarten and Acing Adolescence and cannot recommend the classes enough! They are perfectly designed to help your pup at the age and behaviors they are at. Next step for us is the Hounds Around Town course to help socialize my pup in different environments. Christine was so knowledgeable and approachable! We asked a lot of questions that we thought were kind of dumb and she made us feel more confident. Our cats were having trouble getting along, one of the things that Christine is superduper qualified to handle. She is a whiz at kitten/adult cat dynamics. She really seemed to care about the cats and their relationship! She gave us recommendations for treats that our kitten loves! Highly recommend!
