Canine Connection specializes in the emotional wall being of dogs. They rotate the dogs between rest time and play time in groups and have 24hr human supervision on site. They also figure out the environment each dog prefers: couch, office, chair, crate, kennel, etc. So it’s not the least expensive boarding option in town. It’s also not automatic. They will want to meet your dog and see how it interacts with other dogs before you make a reservation.

We had the pleasure of taking our pup, Emma, to Canine Connection for her first (and only) puppy training. It was so worth it. Theres no better training place in my book. Thos is an A+ facility.

The Canine Connection is amazing! This is our second dog to go through Sara's programs, and we couldn't be happier. After the 2018 Camp Fire, our dog Stinson trained privately with staff due to our needs and later COVID restrictions; he loved his time there and he had friends. Whether he was learning, playing, or staying with the team he felt at home with them.. Now we have Crash, who has completed Puppy Socialization, Kindergarten, Surviving Adolescent classes, and more. Sara and her entire staff truly care about both the dogs and their people. I know they love Crash. They work hard to bring out the best in each dog while teaching owners how to communicate and work effectively as a team all with a soft hand. They all work to bring out the "friend" in your dog. Their combination of knowledge, patience, encouragement, and genuine love for the dogs is something special. We simply can't say enough good things about Sara and The Canine Connection. If you're looking for a place that will help you build a strong, positive relationship with your dog, this is it!

I highly recommend Canine Connection. After working with 4 private trainers to help me with my aggressive dog without success I turned to Sarah at Canine Connection. The aggression my second dog had unleashed on my older dog had landed us in the ER 3 times. Sarah was my last hope. She listened to my overview and then asked a series of detailed questions. Her expertise taught me about precursor behaviors and allowed me to put an end to the aggression. The never was another incident after I worked with Sarah. asher patience, expertise, and careful probing resolved what 4 other skilled trainers could not. Go to Canine Connection! You will be happy you did!
I trained two of my dogs with Sarah over the years. We all enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot!
