Our dog behavioral training is not just about teaching your dog to sit, come, and down. There is a great deal of psychology that goes into the reasons why your dog is doing what they are doing. Also, many times without even knowing it, their people’s actions and reactions can be greatly contributing to the unwanted behaviors. We believe in not only teaching your dog how to make better choices and how to listen to you instead of their impulses, but also in teaching owners how to better understand and communicate with their dog. We want to help you build a relationship with your dog that enriches both your life and theirs. We do teach your dog the basic obedience commands, but we also teach them how to be engaged and to follow through.

Joe has trained many of my too-smart-for-their-own good Rottweilers over the last 10 years. He is an absolutely amazing trainer who is great with both dogs and their people. He is knowledgeable, patient, and truly wants each and every pup to be successful. I will never use another trainer & feel totally comfortable referring him anyone who is either experiencing some training hurdles or just want to start their pup off on the very best foot (paw??). 10/10!

We can't say enough good things about Joe as a trainer. He took our pup Raven in his boot camp program, gave her a solid foundation and then trained us so that we could continue her training at home. He was available when we had questions and provided suggestions and insights into dog behavior to us newbie dog owners. We would definitely recommend Joe to anyone who needs help training their dog.

Jake was excellent with my very sensitive old English Sheepdog. He took the time to investigate Winston's quirks and came up with a plan to effectively train him. Winston responded awesomely to his training and of course, we the owners were the ones that really needed training. Jake made sure we had all the tool necessary to be successful.

Joe is truly the best dog trainer out there! He worked with our Golden Doodle, Buster for over 2 weeks while we were away for vacation and in that short amount of time, he was able to provide a remarkable and major, long-lasting impact on our beloved dog with his professional training protocols and genuine, kind demeanor as our trainer. Before Joe helped us, Buster had a hard time with jumping on us rather frequently to get our attention and we didn't really know how to deal with it. Also we had a hard time trying to walk him without him pulling, or running away from us. When we got home from vacay, Joe had been able to make significant progress with Buster, so much so that he no longer jumps on me, even after long periods of separation and he is a lot calmer when greeting us than ever before! Joe not only provided us with a great YouTube instructional video on his individualized training with Buster but he also came to our home and personally went on a walk with us in showing us how to walk Buster properly, new training words to use and the proper usage of these commands with the really effective ecollar he started using to help Buster which we will continue to leverage. Joe was able to help us understand how to maximize and continue the training he had started and also allowed us to ask him any questions we had during the session and anytime afterwards at any hour where we've needed assistance. Joe is honestly the best dog trainer I've ever known and with his caring and compassionate approach, I highly recommend his services for anyone who wants to hire the best and most capable dog trainer for your beloved canine family member! We look forward to utilizing his expertise and services for many years to come.
