FirstBarkJoe is a fantastic dog trainer. Joe has trained all three of my dogs with the last being the toughest, strong headed, bull in the china shop, and is now the most peaceful, sweetest German Shepherd anyone could ask for. Joe has proven practices and displays such great respect for each animal.

About Canine Corner
Our dog behavioral training is not just about teaching your dog to sit, come, and down. There is a great deal of psychology that goes into the reasons why your dog is doing what they are doing. Also, many times without even knowing it, their people’s actions and reactions can be greatly contributing to the unwanted behaviors. We believe in not only teaching your dog how to make better choices and how to listen to you instead of their impulses, but also in teaching owners how to better understand and communicate with their dog. We want to help you build a relationship with your dog that enriches both your life and theirs. We do teach your dog the basic obedience commands, but we also teach them how to be engaged and to follow through.

Just got my girl out of 3 week boot camp. She’s doing great. Little nervous about keeping the follow-up strong but really liked all that Joe taught me and my golden.
Joe has been so amazing to work with! He has helped me with a couple of dogs over the years, and I couldn’t be happier! His knowledge, patience, and kindness aren’t seen often in this type of business. My dogs are very well-behaved because of Joe. I would highly recommend him! He is the best!

We were lucky to have Joe help us with our 1 year old mini Aussie doodle, named Penny, that was fearful and extremely reactive. We put her in a boot camp with Joe and he was able to work with her triggers and calm her reactivity so much, we were amazed. She was a totally different dog when she returned. Joe worked with us to know how to keep her training going. He has also been available when we’ve had questions. We enjoy the lifetime classes that came with her boot camp package. He is very knowledgeable and is excited to help anyone. We highly recommend Joe to all that are struggling with their dog. If Joe can change Penny, he can definitely change any dog.
