Canine Counterparts

Owner Kira Sims is trying to "rehome" a dog she claims is 1 year old in perfect health. After doing some research, we found the original shelter posted from Dec 2025 where they estimated the dog's age as 2 years old, which would make her around 3 years old. In addition, we also learned from the original shelter the spay she had done was complicated as she was already in heat and she had a contract with the shelter to return the dog instead of rehoming them. Seems like she is trying to pass off "saving dogs from shelters to train and rehome them" as selling dogs for profit. Original shelter had a rehome fee for $400 and she trying to sell her for $500. This is unethical behavior.

Kira has been an amazing support in helping my aging Dad manage a very cute but challenging puppy. She is patient and creative with training methods and goes above and beyond to actually procure toys and other equipment so my Dad has what he needs. She is kind and caring and incredibly professional, and she has been proactive and communicative throughout. I can't recommend Kira's services enough - she has absolutely transformed a very challenging situation to something that's safe and happy for everyone involved. I can't imagine a better trainer and would highly recommend her services for anyone.

I loved working with Kira. Vinny is full of energy and happiness but did not know how to contain himself. He would not listen, sit, stay or when walking he constantly pulled himself away from me. He as learned so much with Kira, as have I. He sits, listens to me, makes eye contact with me awaiting my command and pulls occasionally when walking. I have attached photos as Kira also groomed him for me. One photo he has his full coat, the next is after grooming. He shrunk!😂 He loved seeing her come to train, I highly recommend her.
