Proudly under new ownership as of January 2026. Our dog training programs are designed for of all breeds, ages & backgrounds. With over 30 years of experience, our trainers are experienced to handle a variety of different services. In addition to our top-rated dog training programs, we also offer dog boarding in Montgomery County and structured, enriching dog day care in Montgomery County, ensuring your pup stays active, socialized, and well-cared for while you're away. Our climate controlled dog facility kept at a comfortable 70 degrees and is monitored with cameras for added security. Whether you need training, boarding, grooming, or all of the above, Canine Country has you covered.

This Board & Train program includes 5 weekly follow up lessons to establish in-home results and as-needed private lessons for 2 months.

Receive 10 private lessons where we work on reliable off-leash recall (“come” command), comprehension of the “sit”, “down”, and “place” command off-leash, and loose-leash walking around distractions and other dogs. The lessons take place over a 14 week time span.
Receive professional one-on-one dog training where trainers will work on recall ("come" command), on-leash walking, and comprehension of basic commands with your pup. The package takes place over the course of 7 weeks.

This is a hybrid program for those who don’t want to send their dog away. You can choose from a 1 or 2 week program Monday - Friday. During their stay we will work on all basic commands and leash walking, as well as minor behavior modification.

They are so kind and very friendly and polite. I definitely would and do recommend that you go to them. I had missed my appointment for my dog and they made another appointment for me asap. They do awesome work. The best. Dont hesitate to book an appointment. You wont be disappointed.
They don't return phone calls... don't answer the phone, don't respond back to voicemail and of course can't go do an appointment in the office, again 23 Sept 2020...ok... neither the email or the manager phone # I was given work...so much for customer service
Hands down a 5! It's always clean. My dog cannot wait to get into the play room. He is groomed and boarded here as well. It's great to have this service available and the icing on the cake is the people that work here love all the dogs as much as the doggie parents!!

Parking was easy to find, and even while it's slightly limited, there aren't enough people in the parking lot at once (due to ease of getting out of the building in a timely manner) so it isn't such a big deal. They're easy to work with as well and friendly. As for covid (until it's over) their policies and social distancing practices are actually upheld. They come pick up the dog from the parking spot (most times quickly and wear masks).
